Krista Bourne is senior vice president of Verizon Sales and Operations. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of the nationwide delivery of industry-leading service for more than 100 million customers.

Previously, Krista was South Central market president for Verizon Wireless, where she led the teams responsible for marketing, sales, and operations for consumers and businesses in the 12 state region. Under her leadership, the South Central market returned to revenue growth and consistently exceeded financial and operations targets.

During her 20-year Verizon career, Krista has focused on delivering results and providing extraordinary customer experiences. She began her career as a mailroom delivery assistant. She’s held various positions of increasing responsibility within Verizon, including director-Customer Service in both the Northeast and Southeast markets, director-Retail Sales for upstate New York, and region president of Houston, Gulf Coast, Carolina and Tennessee markets.

Krista understands how communications networks and technology work and she has an appreciation for the role they play in keeping people and communities connected.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Krista earned a Professional Retail Sales Management (PRSM) certification from Bellevue College. She’s an advocate for the prevention of domestic violence. Krista has worked extensively to bolster the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and has served on the boards of Houston Area Women’s Center, Houston Technology Center and the Irving Chamber of Commerce.
